Well I did just that, dream a little dream last night. In my dream I was responsible for a baby gorilla. It was the cutest little gorilla I’ve ever seen (like I have really seen a gorilla in a real life). The problem with this dream was that I was not caring for the baby gorilla properly. I placed the baby in the bed; however, I did not bathe nor feed the little one. I could not feed the baby properly, tried to give it milk out of a cup. Really Tashia, how is a darling little baby going to drink from a cup. Finally, toward the end of the dream I did get bottles and clothes for the baby.
So when I woke up I was so intrigued. I knew there was a meaning to this dream. I got to work and still could not get it out of my mind. I had to know what this dream meant; I knew there had to be a message. I had a feeling that it had something to do with me neglecting something. After doing some status updates and meetings, I finally got a chance to do some research. Here is what I discovered:
- A gorilla represents nobility, dignity, intelligence, nurturing, etc. (link – http://dreamstop.com/gorilla-dream-symbol/)
- A baby gorilla represents a new idea or venture. (link – http://www.whats-your-sign.com/animal-symbolism-gorilla.html)
I had my answer. The dream meant that I was neglecting my ideas and business ventures. This week I have done very minimal work to push towards my business goals. I did a little research on Monday but Tuesday and Wednesday I did absolutely nothing. Then Wednesday night I dream a little dream about me neglecting my baby gorilla. I was failing to nurse my gorilla. So many times we lose focus; however, we need to get it together and stay on the path set.
Pay attention to the little dreams you dream folks. Nine times out of ten there is a message for you that you may need to decode. Don’t be afraid to dream a little dream, and never forget to nurse your gorilla (#nurseyourgorilla)
